After the overwhelming success of Avalon, Roxy Music went on indefinite hiatus and released this four-song live EP featuring their covers of Neil Young's "Like a Hurricane," John Lennon's "Jealous Guy" and a solo Bryan Ferry track ("Can't Let Go") from The Bride Stripped Bare. Rounding out the set is a song from the band's recent Flesh & Blood album.

A Roxy Music concert, recorded at Frejus, France, on 27 August 1982 during their Avalon tour. Roxy Music at the absolute top of their game. Videography and sound mix is perfect. There is a great vibe to the setting that comes through in the band.

Roxy Music didn’t have the level of mass hysteria that T. Rex generated in their homeland, but they were just as influential. In 2005, The Guardian’s Tim de Lisle went as far to call Roxy Music the second most influential British band after The Beatles: Somehow, in a landscape dominated by Led Zeppelin at one end and The Osmonds at the other, they managed to reach the Top 10 with a heady mixture of futurism, retro rock ‘n’ roll, camp, funny noises, silly outfits, art techniques, film references and oboe solos.
