Jeff Greinke is an American ambient music and jazz artist and composer currently based in Tucson, Arizona. He is known as one of the pioneers of dark ambient music, with his earlier solo albums often compared to works by Robert Rich, Brian Eno, and Vidna Obmana In 1993 Greinke founded the group LAND, described by guitarist Dennis Rea as "an odd blend of jazz, rock, electronic, and world music  . with Faith & Disease. 2002 : Dream the Red Clouds. 1984 : Before the Storm (studio album).

Dream the Red Clouds is a collaboration between Dara Rosenwasser and Eric Cooley of FAITH & DISEASE and ambient composer JEFF GREINKE. The tracks on Dream the Red Clouds were recorded at Another Room in Seattle,WA engineered and mixed by Jeff Greinke and produced by Eric Cooley. All 4 tracks are new and previously unreleased. Dara Rosenwasser provided the words and vocals, Eric Cooley played guitar and bass parts, and Jeff Greinke added the sounds and rhythms. Eric Cooley, on the collaboration: Jeff Greinke is fairly legendary in Seattle, and we’ve always respected his work.

Before Sunrise' marks the 20th solo album for ambient artist Jeff Greinke, not counting his collaborations. It's a shame that a number of them are out of print, although there have been some reissues. Also, an EP, titled Dream The Red Clouds with Faith & Disease, a Seattle based ethereal wave project, now retired.

Bassist Eric Cooley and vocalist Dara Rosenwasser released the Jardeau Blue single in 1993, and with friend David Goebel, Faith Disease formed their own label Ivy Records. They released five albums (Beauty and Bitterness (1993), Fortune His Sleep (1995), Live Songs: Third Body (1996), Insularia (1998), and Lamentations: A Collection (1999) under Ivy, but signed with Projekt at the close of the '90s to issue Beneath the Trees in fall 2000

Faith & Disease: Seattle-based ethereal wave music project who released their debut CD "Beauty and Bitterness" in 1994. Its core members are Eric Cooley and Dara Rosenwasser.
