The Lady and the Unicorn (French: La Dame à la licorne) is the modern title given to a series of six tapestries woven in Flanders from wool and silk, from designs ("cartoons") drawn in Paris around 1500. The set, on display in the Musée national du Moyen Âge (former Musée de Cluny) in Paris, is often considered one of the greatest works of art of the Middle Ages in Europe.

But the narrator’s efforts to conjure the memory of Ligeia-his wife-are unclear. Ligeia’s origins are a mystery, even to her husband. There is only one aspect of Ligeia that the narrator of "Ligeia" does not ever fail to remember, the form and appearance of her. He remembers how quietly she walked, and could enter a room without one knowing. And he remembers the low tone of her voice.

The Lion and the Unicorn are symbols of the United Kingdom. They are, properly speaking, heraldic supporters appearing in the full royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom. The lion stands for England and the unicorn for Scotland. By extension, they have also been used in the arms of Hanover in 1837–1866 and the arms of Canada since 1921.

The Lady and the Unicorn is the 1970 solo album by British folk musician John Renbourn. On this release, Renbourn ventures into folk rock and medieval music territory. The cover was taken from The Lady and the Unicorn tapestry. Trotto" (Anonymous) – 0:40. Saltarrello" (Anonymous) – 1:53. Lamento Di Tristan" (Anonymous) – 1:58. La Rotta" (Anonymous) – 0:55.
