Good golly, Miss Molly You sure like to ball When you're rockin' and a-rollin' Can't y' hear your momma call Wowhow. Momma, Poppa told me: "Son, you better watch your step" If I knew about Miss Molly, well I'd watch her for myself. Good golly, Miss Molly You sure like to ball When you're rockin' and a-rollin' Can't y' hear your momma call Yeah.

Good Golly Miss Molly" as written by R. Blackwell and John Marascalco. Oh, oh, yeah From the early early mornin' to the early early night We caught Miss Molly rockin' in the house of blue light. Good golly, Miss Molly, oh, you sure like to ball And when you're rockin' and a rollin' Can't hear your mamma call. Mamma, pappa told us, Son, you better watch your step If he knew about Miss Molly, I'd watch my pa myself. From the early early mornin' to the early early night Caught Miss Molly rockin'.

Good Golly, Miss Molly" is a hit rock 'n' roll song first recorded in 1956 by the American musician Little Richard and released in January 1958 as Specialty single 624 and next in July 1958 on Little Richard. The song, a jump blues, was written by John Marascalco and producer Robert "Bumps" Blackwell. Although it was first recorded by Little Richard, Blackwell produced another version by the Valiants, who imitated the fast first version recorded by Little Richard, not released at this time.
