Megiddo is the debut album by the American singer/songwriter Lauren Hoffman, released in 1997 through Virgin Records. The album was well received by critics, praised as "exceptional" by Billboard and "strikingly unconventional" by the Chicago Tribune. However, due to a lack of proper promotion by her record label and timing with releases by other artists, it went relatively unnoticed.
Lauren Hoffman is a singer, songwriter and musician from Charlottesville, VA. Her releases include early 7-inch singles on the now defunct Slow River Records, The Chemist Said It Would Be Alright (Pitch-A-Tent, 1996); Megiddo (Virgin/Pitch-A-Tent, 1997) and From The Blue House (Free Union, 1999). After an extended hiatus from recording, 2006's Choreography (2006), demonstrated a remarkable growth in her songwriting and performance. Her latest album, Interplanetary Traveler, was released in Jaunary 2010.
A third album, 'Choreography', followed in 2006. In 2015, she released her first EP under new moniker The Secret Storm entitled In the Sun. She is produced in John Morand and David Lowery's studio Sound of Music Studios, along with artists such as Mint, Cracker and Sparklehorse.

Choreography, released in 2006, is the third studio album by the American singer/songwriter Lauren Hoffman. For its production and recording, she worked with Cracker's's David Lowery, who also produced her first EP in 1999, A Harmless Little Kiss. Consistent with her previous work, the album conveys an overall dark, moody atmosphere, as a result of its lyrical qualities, production, and variety of instruments, including prominent accordion, pump organ, cello, and piano parts throughout its tracks.
