Shop Vinyl and CDs and complete your Misc. A very melodic affair compared with later releases from the "Misc. alias (other works of Christopher Bleckmann & Hannes Wenner, like the glitchy drum'n bass of Monophace, are recommended too), and my favourite one. It's just one of those breezy, loose, soft techno works, like Dennis DeSantis' "Clockwise" or the more relaxed Scsi-9. Beautiful, with lots of textures, most of the songs consists of layers derived from a sample repeated during the 4 or 5 minutes the track lasts

Label: Resopal Schallware ‎– RSP006LP. Format: 2 Vinyl, 12", Album, 33 ⅓ RPM. Country: Germany. Hannes Weener & Christopher Bleckmann aka Misc. deliver a sooooperb collection of warm, dubby, atmospheric techno – deep house tracks, some with spoken word vocal snippets. All tracks are unique, emotive, colourful and very musical. Infectious dubilicious grooves.

Preceded by the singles "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" and "Somewhere Between", the album reached number 41 on the Billboard Top Country Albums during its 37-week chart stay. The album's third single "Cross My Broken Heart" peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.

Album when referring to recorded music dates back to a collection of several 78 RPM records that were actually collected together in a book (album). An album is a release with two 2 - 7 or more tracks will be considered an album, basically a LP that is promoted and sold where Neilsen Soundscan can keep track; also count towards a record contract to being completed. The UK's Official Chart Company defines a boundary between EP and album classification at 25 minutes of length or four tracks (not counting alternative versions of featured songs, if present). In the UsA the Recording Industry Association of America defines an EP as containing three to five songs or under 30 minutes. In the underground music scene it’s common practice to release an EP on a micro label or on their own to help the band get exposure and get a deal for a full album.

The album starts with the short, promising intro "On The Air". Next comes a sharp, rocking song, "Stroke of Midnight": driving and quite typical for the band. It all the time promises something, but doesn't give enough power, enough creativity. You know, sometimes there are albums on the edge: if it would be a little bit better, you'd call it good, if a bit worse – bad, but instead it's somewhere between – it's just nice. All in Between is an album of that kind. At first sight they have everything to make it – they are amazing musicians

Somewhere Between (album). For the 2017 American TV show, see Somewhere Between (TV series). The only music video made to promote the album was the titular song, "Somewhere Between". Directed by Armanda Costanza and released in 1988, the video opens with a solo performance by Suzy Bogguss on her instrument at SyncroSound Studios (now known as 615 Music Studios), where the album was recorded. The performance fades to Bogguss leaving a car belonging to her boyfriend and walking alone dejectedly before returning to the solo performance.

Beautiful, with lots of textures, most of the songs consists of layers derived from a sample repeated during the 4 or 5 minutes the track lasts. Highlights: the clear and optimistic "Music my friend", the relaxed and 80's "Come again", and the catchy and danceable "Alive". But bear in mind, very different from the later synth-oriented and dirtier releases from Misc.
