Stanley Robert Vinton Jr. (born April 16, 1935), known professionally as Bobby Vinton, is an American singer and songwriter who also briefly appeared in films. In pop music circles, he became known as "The Polish Prince", as his music pays tribute to his Polish heritage. His most popular song was "Blue Velvet", a cover of Tony Bennett's 1951 song, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963 and number two in the UK in 1990. It also served as inspiration for the film of the same name.

Album Heart of Hearts. Beer Barrel Polka Lyrics. There's a garden, what a garden Only happy faces bloom there And there's never any room there For a worry or a gloom there. Oh there's music and there's dancin' And a lot of sweet romancin' When they play the polka They all get in the swing. Every time they hear that oom-pa-pa Everybody feels so tra-la-la They want to throw their cares away And (Polish) ''Loopde shpay devashteva".

Beer Barrel Polka", also known as "The Barrel Polka" and "Roll Out the Barrel", is a song which became popular worldwide during World War II. The music was composed by the Czech musician Jaromír Vejvoda in 1927. Eduard Ingriš wrote the first arrangement of the piece, after Vejvoda came upon the melody and sought Ingriš's help in refining it. At that time, it was played without lyrics as "Modřanská polka" ("Polka of Modřany").
Although "Dick and Jane" was intended as the A-side, it appears that it was this side which charted nationally. Written by Lew Brown, Wladimir Timm and Eduard Vejvoda. Rosamunde po angelsku fajnie, milo sluchac. Great wedding song! I am not much of a dancer, but it was always fun to be part of the party! Bobby Vinton songs bring back a lot of special memories for me. Thanks for posting.
