Welcome to Heaven, Sinister (2000). Raised in Captivity (2011). Wetton Downes (2002). There's the Rub. Locked In. New England. No Smoke Without Fire.
Definitely not something to build the crowd up. It's good though, for that era at least. Good synths and beats. Not cheesey to the extreme at all. "Good In Da Neighbourhood" is a strange track I didn't expect. It's practically a reggae tune. Very mellow, although still at around 170 bpm or so. It's a good track to throw on to ground the audience and give them a break.
Mama, take this badge off of me I can’t use it anymore It’s gettin’ dark, too dark for me to see I feel like I’m knockin’ on heaven’s door. Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door.
Ooh, makes me wonder Ooh, makes me wonder
Tell Me There's Heaven. With angels' wings and still somehow. It makes me feel like ice. Tell me there's a heaven. Tell me that it's true. Tell me there's a reason. Why I'm seeing what I do. Where all those people go. Tell me they're all happy now. Papa tell me that it's so. So do I tell her that it's true. That there's a place for me and you. Where hungry children smile and say. We wouldn't have no other way.
by cynti on 6/29/2008 12:48pm nice. There needs to be a comforting song that speaks about all the defenseless children that are abused across the world; and hopefully their families can find comfort from this song. it can bring tears and a smile and the same time. by Sven on 12/26/2008 8:25pm There are more tears than smiles, when you listen the song.
There's Ulysses and old Nestor, whose wit was mouldy ere your grandsires had nails on their toes, yoke you like draught-oxen, and make you plough up the wars. Troilus and Cressida Act 2 Scene 1. One of the most popular among many sixteenth-century works on husbandry was Thomas Tusser’s Five Hundred Points of Good Husbandry, expanded from his 1557 A Hundreth Points of Husbandrie.
