Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr. (June 14, 1931 – November 23, 1995), known professionally as Junior Walker, was an American saxophonist and vocalist who recorded for Motown during the 1960s. Walker was born Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr. on June 14, 1931 in Blytheville, Arkansas, and grew up in South Bend, Indiana. He began playing saxophone while in high school, and his saxophone style was the anchor for the sound of the bands he later played in.

Walker was either born Autry DeWalt II or re-christened such following an earlier name, Oscar G. Mixon, on June 14, 1931. Although he mastered the crawl and the toddle, "Junior Walker" got that moniker not from frequent roaming but from his father, Roosevelt Walker. Still, after his family moved from Blytheville, Arkansas to South Bend, Indiana, people started noticing his special rhythms. In his new home, he could pursue his lifelong specialty: music.

The band's second album, it reached on Billboard's "Black Albums" chart and on Billboard's "Pop Albums" chart, launching four hit singles. First released on record by Motown, it has been reissued multiple times on cassette and compact disc. It has also been remastered and reissued in conjunction with the band's preceding record, Home Cookin', as Road Runner & Home Cookin'.

Produced by Holland-Dozier, Lamont Dozier & Brian Holland. I’m a) Roadrunner Lyrics. Money, who needs it? Just to live my life free and easy Put the toothbrush in my hand And let me be travelin', man 'Cause I'm a roadrunner, baby. I'm a roadrunner, baby Can't stay in one place too long I'm a roadrunner, baby Mess with me and I'll be gone. You can love me if you wanna But I do declare If I get restless I've gotta move somewhere I'm a roadrunner, baby.
