Catch It' stood out as sounding like one of the fastest hardcore tracks I'd ever heard due to the tightness of the beat-chopping. The inventiveness of this track is astounding with the Bizzy B style beat changes, merry-go-round on speed section and 'Catch it, before it catches you' sample. The energy on this track is breathtaking. Reply Notify me 5 Helpful.

Seminal tune - must have been imposible to mix it with anything else at the time with most stuff being around 150BPM. Probably the first DnB tune ever.

Yeah many good tunes 92/3 had amazing differences in bpm, there were quite a few that wouldnt fit into others at +/-8 pitch. Had to prepare when playin out! Oh the days of nothin but vinyl :D
TheFresh
176 bpm! I think that's pretty fast for 1993! Wicked piece of darkside/jungle though!

This was on my wants lists since way before internet forums began unearthing unitentified mixtape tracklistings (in my case an LTJ Bukem at The Edge tape from '93), and once I discovered who and what produced this, I was right on it tracking a copy for myself.'Catch It' stood out as sounding like one of the fastest hardcore tracks I'd ever heard due to the tightness of the beat-chopping.
