David Alan Reid (born January 14, 1962) is an American politician and retired US Navy Reserve commander. Reid was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2017. He is a Democrat representing the 32nd District, which includes much of eastern Loudoun County in Northern Virginia. Reid grew up in Rockbridge County, Virginia, before moving to the United Methodist Children's Home in Richmond, Virginia in 1972.

David Donald Reid OAM (10 May 1933 – 27 October 2017) was an Australian politician. He briefly served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly in 1971–1972 representing the seat of Blackwood, then in 1974 was appointed to the Australian Senate to serve out a vacancy which ended the same year. Reid was born in Bridgetown in the South West region of Western Australia to Donald Reid, a primary producer, and Marion (née Davies)
