NO LOVE DEEP WEB (stylized as NØ LØV∑ D∑∑P W∏B) is the second studio album released by Death Grips. This one having a more abrasive sound and harsher lyrics than its predecessor. No love deep web q&a. Label Harvest Records, Third Worlds & Epic Records.

Like every Death Grips album, No Love Deep Web starts out extremely strong, with the first few tracks being some of the most substantial on the album. Indeed, the opening track Come Up and Get Me is not only one of the finest on the album, but is also representative of the overall theme and feeling of the album: namely, suicidal paranoia. Several of the tracks on the album mention and deal with the theme of suicide and death, as can be most prominently heard in the track World of Dogs, with its dangerously catchy chorus of It’s all suicide

No Love Deep Web feels just as authentic and honest as any Death Grips release before it. This maintenance of character is immediately apparent at the album's open with "Come up and get m. Just bought this 2 weeks ago from a local record store in sac. Sealed still but bottom left corner was creased which was a bummer, but awesome nevertheless!
So what's an actual selling price for a sealed copy? I ordered one of these when they released but never actually bought a record player lmao. Just been chillin ever since, still sealed in the original black cover.
The "original" wasn't in a black cover. It's a different pressing. They're easy to get
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say there's probably 100-ish of these in the world, given only 10 have ever been sold on here (and outside of Discogs I've yet to see any sell)? Does anyone have an actual statistic?
Just FYI, if anybody's looking for the Pirates Press edition, please be sure you're getting the correct edition. Harvest copies are hitting the streets, and some people are listing them here. The PP edition doesn't come in a black sleeve and has neither the Harvest nor the Third Worlds logos printed on them. The records are also a different pressing, although that's obviously hard to confirm if you're buying a sealed copy. ;)
A large portion of the Harvest NLDW are the same master as the originals (same defects in the runout) but the labels and outer sleeves have Harvest labels.
Interesting. I wonder if perhaps there are separate U.S. and European pressings? The person who reported on theirs said it was from GZ Vinyl and had the following etchings.113442E1/{A,B}3753177-{A,B}

Hello. Regarding the various rumors floating around, here are some thoughts.-The Amazon sellout doesn't mean dick (hur hur). There's no way that the label would sell exclusively through Amazon. What probably happened is that Amazon decided to pre-order X number of copies. Those are sold out. Maybe they'll try to get more. Don't freak out.-Whether or not the current vinyl will be worthless is up in the air, but doubtful. First, it's a collector's item, no matter what. Second, as mentioned above, this will almost certainly be available to other retailers, including brick-and-mortar shops. Do you really think Harvest will ship them something that, in theory, could get them and/or the shop owners busted by the cops for violating local obscenity laws? In the best case scenario, the Harvest edition will have some sort of sleeve over the dick pic, or will place the pic inside the outer sleeve, or do something similar to the "body bag" edition of Big Black's "Headache" EP. Worst case scenario, the dick will be left out entirely. In that case, you'd better believe the current edition will be desirable.-Will the Harvest edition sound better? Depends on if they're working from the master recordings and if it's actually mastered.-In all likelihood, many of these copies are being sold by the band. It's no secret that many bands do things like scalp tickets to their own shows. (Granted, this is mostly arena acts like Van Galen.) Why not press a few copies and flip them on eBay?-I'm not sure I buy the stories that these were bought at shows. Seriously, nobody thought to buy two and flip one on eBay last year, even once the band retweeted the infamous "$150 for 'Exmilitary' " tweet? Impossible. That's all I have to say. :) Later.
Hamster, actually someone did buy more than one and flip them. I contacted the seller on eBay who originally sold on for like $500. He said he had more. He traded one to me for a copy of Pearl Jam's "No Code." He is the one who originally said that he got them at a show in NY. I agree there is no way to confirm that, but I also don't see the reason to lie. He sent me the record just like he said he would.
You were right about the sleeve over the Vinyl, except of course it's an envelope in the final version. http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=5103907
Lol ... Just like everything in life ... Someone else decides whether or not something is good or of value ... :) I personally think it will be worth something ... It is still the original press and quite a story to go along with it ...
http://pitchfork.com/news/52282-death-grips-no-love-deep-web-getting-official-wide-release/"The small print reads, "Warning: Contains graphic imagery which may be offensive to some people," suggesting the original art might be inside."Looks like a compromise for all involved. This means the current edition will still be a collector's item. Whether or not it's worth hundreds of dollars is now up to you, dear reader. ;)
It's not misleading. People here and on Reddit got whipped up into a frenzy and assumed Amazon would be selling 1000 copies. Amazon probably just copied and pasted a description given to them by Harvest. Who knows, maybe Harvest will change their minds and press more copies based on demand. This wouldn't be the first time, nor the millionth, where a "limited" item suddenly isn't as limited due to heavy demand. The second pressing might come out next year, due to the long turnaround time when pressing vinyl (another reason I don't believe this was available last year), but it'll come. Harvest wants to make money, and they'll only press as many copies as they think they can sell, like any other label or band. If there's an instant sellout, I'm sure more copies will come.
The editorial description for this on Amazon was "limited to 1000 copies". I highly doubt this means that Amazon only ordered 1000 copies to sell. If so, that description is extremely misleading, no?
Ah, I didn't see the artwork when I ordered my copy. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. They could bag it, but it'd be cheaper and less riskier to just leave the pic out. I don't seriously believe this would be "Frankenchrist" Part Deux, but I'm not running the label. :)In any event, people should stay calm. More copies will show up elsewhere as the release date draws near. Amazon just happened to put it up for pre-order first. They usually do that.
I think they are going to black bag it just like Amazon shows with the white label at the top.
I'm so confused, it's no longer available on Amazon? All I want is a physical copy of this album...
Dancing Lion
Try www.amazon.de. I was able to pre-order a copy from them.
it's sold out. it was limited to 1000 copies
if you are sane don't buy these pirate press ones, sure they are the original but they are reissuing it for like 21 dollars, and it'll probably be of good quality
According to Amazon it is to be released on Harvest Nov 19th ... The releases thus far have been on Pirates Press ... I am confused ... Is the pirates press the official release or the bootleg ...
PIRATES PRESS is the pressing plant that pressed the records. Not a label. I am assuming these copies that are floating around now were self funded/self released by the band and the information on this listing should probably be changed. I can only assume that the first wave of these is "sold out" and the November release is going to be a second pressing because if they had the records now why would they put up a Pre-Order with a release date thats 2 months away? BUT THEN AGAIN Death Grips are pretty good at taking the unconventional road when it comes to doing things so who knows??? All i know is that none of these are bootlegs. I'm sure Pirates Press wouldn't press bootlegs and stamp thier name on it. Regardless of the suggestive name lol
I need this. To breath.
this is bullshit, I want it....
I spoke to a few people about it ... I was told that they were pressed by the band and sold at some of their shows back in 2012 ... They apparently ditched some lp's at one gig and a few made it into some record shops in NY ... Any, more info is appreciated ...
I have no idea how many of these were made, but it does exist. I opened it and played it, just to make sure because I had never seen one before. I don't know if it is 180 gram or not, but it is solid and it sounds good.
