melodic smooth and warm drifty and uplifting "Exotica" reminds me of the early work of Don Carlos like "Overture" etc.

This is one of the most uplifting and melodic techno house albums ive come across, full of love and very light and relaxing on the ear,a music listen.

Really gorgeous release of uplifting Detroit-inspired techno & house from Microworld. Takes what he did on the "Signals" EP, & goes even further in terms of depth, complexity and engineering. Difficult to find in the US (possibly due to an uncleared Talking Heads sample on the 1st track?), but VERY much worth hunting for..

One of the best CDs in my collection, Bought it in Osaka, Amazing Tunes , Especially Calypso. A must for Detroit /Deep house lovers, Pity that its a Japan only release..

The tantalising glimpse we got of Microworld's sound in his 12" release on Transmat of 'Signals' and 'Smile' is amply expanded here with more Detroit-esque soundscapes, crisp, tight production, lush chords & keyboard sounds. It's just a shame that, as yet, it's not been given a full release on both vinyl & cd via Transmat; someone please shove a rocket up Derrick May's behind to encourage him!
